Sorry for the downtime in the past week. I hope everything’s alright now ![]()
No message from Se7en on Se7en day (7/7) huh?
Recently, there’s confusion about the future plan of Se7en’s career in The US.
I really want Se7en to release an English album first. We don’t know what’s going on behind the scene but this is just my opinion.
- I don’t think it relates to Korean military service.
- I believe YG want the best thing for Se7en.
- I believe YG won’t treat Se7en as just money-maker.
what do you think?

YG Entertainment’s claim:
* Says that YG hasn’t been able to contact RQM yet because of the time difference; they’re planning on contacting them to see if that article(on allkpop) is their official statement.
* When Se7en came back to Korea YG stated that he’s here because of his personal issues, however it has already been two months since he’s been in Korea now.
* In Se7en’s cyworld one of his friends wrote, “Everything’s going to be okay. Receive the calls. I’m worried” “The company’s totally outraged”. Fans are worried.
* The contract’s ended but Se7en’s going to continue with his US promotions.
* Reason why Se7en came back to Korea is very personal. Lots of friction between RQM and YG that was exposed; YG was planning on signing a contract with another agency after their contract with RQM ended.
* Se7en signed a contract with YG two years before he went to the states, and there is still about 3 years left on their contract. Not planning on doing activities in Asia.

The contract with RQM ended recently and YG’s saying they ended everything peacefully. YG can’t understand why RQM is saying this. Also YG’s saying that they’ve never received an offer for Se7en to work with Justin Timberlake. Se7en is not planning on doing any activities in Korea this year either. Also RQM failed to fulfill all the contract details; the contract term’s over so YG didn’t renew the contract.

YG’s saying that they’re not done with the activities in the states and they’re planning right now. They’re saying that there’s nothing that they’ve made a solid decision on. YG’s saying that it’s just a rumor. They’re saying that its nonsense saying Se7en’s agency is being an obstacle for Se7en’s US activities. Again they’re saying it’s just rumors and they’re going to contact RQM to see how these articles were published.

Red Queen Media’s claim (via AllKpop):
Inside sources at Red Queen Media (Se7en’s US Management), have informed us at allkpop about Se7en’s future plans in the US. Unfortunately, there are no more future plans, as Se7en will not be returning to the US.
Things were looking up for him as he recently scored the “Joint of the day” on BET’s 106 & Park. In addition, our source at Red Queen Media stated:
“Things were looking great for Se7en. Johnny Wright was going to co-manage his career, we setup deals for Se7en to record a collaboration with Justin Timberlake. We even had Se7en scheduled to sing the national anthem live at an upcoming Dodgers game, as well as present an award at the BET Awards show.”

Hi Jamie
I watched one or two One Call’s Youtube clips that feature “Girls” but I’m not sure if it’ll be their 1st single

this is unfortunate.
i hope he continues to release US music.
People don’t realize what Se7en means for the Asian man’s image in the US.
We need more artists like him in the US to debunk stereotypes and show that Asian men can be sexy and talented.
Without him, we’re left with BoA and Wonder Girls. Asian Females who are talented, but are already hyper-sexualized in US media without sufficient men to counter-balance.
