Though I think the shotgun in a whip is actually “shotgun and a whip” because “shotgun in a whip” makes no sense at all. Shotgun and a whip gives the image of a girl who is sexy yet tough.

hmm…i think it is “shotgun in a whip”
it’s all American slang -
shotgun: to be in the passenger seat of a car
whip: another word for a ‘car’
so basically “shotgun in a whip” = “to be in the passenger seat of a nice car”

I personally think its “shotgunn’ the whip”. I haven’t spoken heavy Ebonics in a few years and I am pretty sure that the slang in this song is based on Ebonics so my guess is, thats how it would be said (or written w/e.) “Shotgun in a whip” just doesn’t make sense when just spoken. To define it “shotgun” would be to “claim” the passenger seat of the car. So which sounds better? “Claim in a whip” or “Claimin’ a whip”? However unless he likes to see girls in the front seat the initial phrase would make sense.
As for the Bridge I think the last part is:

no so dame nor the sport - (totally not confident in that but, thats what it sounds like and I know it doesn’t make sense either but I’m pretty sure hes saying “nor the sport”)

okay by the way to clarify things for some people about the lyrics i guess you have to take the lyrics and put it into context. this song was written for an american audience. there for the first major thing i saw wrong was the whip line. it’s shotgun in the whip. for those of you who don’t know. when you want to sit front seat of a car you call shotgun and whoever yells it out first gets to sit there. and whip is a synonym for HOT CAR. and in the US it’s the modern version of chivalry to let your girl or just any girl to get the front seat over a friend or a guy. naother major one was the “Like will” line. the line refers to the recent US movie featuring WILL SMITH called I AM LEGENDARY. so i hope you guys understand that. okay so i’ll just post my opinion of the lyrics based on others and just litening to it. btw i only corrected the first verse because i’ve yet to listen to the second verse as i am waiting for the full song

This line sounds weird. It almost sounds like “call you mommy”, but that’s odd haha.
Also, even though “Cross the border they all lookin’ to me” makes sense, the syllables sound weird. Like, I thought it sounded like “Across the world they all look good to me” or something. I don’t know >_< I hope the single comes with a lyric booklet lol
