PRESS RELEASE 8th May 2008

ASIAN SUPERSTAR, SE7EN, AND VERIZON WIRELESS TEAM UP FOR ASIAN PACIFIC AMERICAN HERITAGE MONTH CHARITY PROGRAM

Se7en

LOS ANGELES, CA – For Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, Verizon Wireless and Asian superstar, Se7en, have joined forces to bring the Asian Pacific American communities together for a wonderful cause. This charity program will encompass performances and autograph signings by Se7en in means of promoting the HopeLine phone drive. These activities are scheduled to take place in the Los Angeles areas during the Memorial Day weekend. The specific dates and locations of the events are as follows:

LOS ANGELES

Performance: May 25, 2008 @ Ritual Supper Club (Hollywood)

Autograph Signing: May 26, 2008 at the Verizon Wireless store located at 12603 Towne Center Dr., Cerritos, CA 90703 from 2 to 4PM

“Asian Pacific American Heritage Month is a perfect time for us to recognize the Asian Pacific American community,” says Tim Youn, Verizon Wireless’ Multicultural Marketing Manager. “We can all come together to celebrate our heritage while supporting a great cause, HopeLine. Verizon Wireless is thrilled to have Se7en partnering up with us in making this celebration a reality.”

Old phones may be donated at both of the aforementioned events. The collected phones will be donated to Verizon Wireless’ charity program, HopeLine. Verizon Wireless is a recognized corporate leader in the area of giving back to the community. HopeLine, currently in its 13th year, collects old, no-longer-used wireless phones and accessories from any wireless service provider. Phones that can be salvaged are sold for reuse, and those without value are discarded in an eco-friendly way. Proceeds from the HopeLine program are used to provide wireless phones and cash grants to local shelters and nonprofit organizations that advocate domestic violence prevention and awareness, such as The Center for Pacific-Asian Families. By 2007, HopeLine had collected more than 4.5 million wireless phones and donated nearly $5 million in cash grants.

“I am really honored to take part in Verizon Wireless’ Asian Pacific American Heritage Month Program. We are such a diverse group of people and it is great to see a leading corporation like Verizon Wireless spearheading this type of Asian Pacific American charity program. I really look forward to working together with Verizon Wireless in making this event memorable and successful,” states Se7en.

With a unique blend of hip-hop, pop, and R&B, Se7en has established himself as a household name throughout Asia. After numerous successful albums in South Korea and Japan, Se7en has traveled overseas to release his first U.S. album, scheduled to debut mid-2008. In this upcoming album, Se7en has collaborated with many renowned artists, such as Fabolous, Far East Movement, and Three Six Mafia.
